Selection of eight color palettes in thermal mode
The choice of eight color palettes allows users to view their field of view more efficiently, enabling them to optimize the unit for specific tasks as well as react to changing viewing conditions. White Hot, Black Hot and Red Hot are good choices for object detection. Rainbow and Ultramarine help increase the chances of identification and recognition. Red Monochrome, Sepia and Purple are good for extended observation at night.
Highly Accurate Dexterity Lens Focus
640x480 @ NETD < 25 mK High sensitivity thermal imaging sensor
The highly sensitive European-made sensor with NETD < 25 mK captures the smallest temperature differences when observing in low-temperature contrast conditions or in rain and fog. The 640 x 480 pixel resolution ensures reliable target identification and high quality visualization of important anatomical features of the animal as well as minute details of the surrounding landscape. The large size of the sensor provides the Thermion Duo DXP with a wide field of view for comfortable and informative observation of static and dynamic scenes.
Large Aperture F50/1.0 Thermal Imaging Lens
The large aperture F50/1.0 germanium lens shows the full potential of the highly sensitive sensor in the thermal imaging channel. The thermal imaging channel ensures that hunters get maximum detection efficiency in any weather condition at any time of the day.
Advanced Image Processing: Enhanced Detail, Sharpness and Contrast
The Thermion Duo utilizes modern algorithms to take image detail, clarity and contrast to a new level. Using a variety of halftones, the Thermion channel is capable of rendering complex scenes with uniformly illuminated low-contrast objects, such as the sky, grass or water. Enhanced detail and software can sharpen objects at different distances to render informative thermal images. Manually increasing the sensitivity of the thermal imaging sensor can improve the quality of animal detection if observation conditions deteriorate. Smoothing filters as well as brightness and contrast settings ensure comfortable viewing over long periods of time. The daylight channel provides ideal image perception in both sunny and cloudy conditions.
Combined multispectral observation modes
Thermion Duo supports four observation modes. Digital image mode is used for daytime hunting. Thermal Imaging Mode is designed for nighttime conditions and serves as a secondary mode for difficult daytime conditions - fog, heavy clouds, rain, oncoming or sideways sun, tall grass, brush and trees affect the ability to detect an animal, view it comfortably and clearly identify its trophy characteristics. The Picture-in-Picture feature in the Thermion Duo displays images from two optical channels simultaneously, prioritizing thermal or digital images.
Automatic switching to low light mode
The Thermion Duo's daylight sensor switches to black-and-white mode when the light fades. This transition allows the low noise level, clarity and high definition of digital images to be maintained between evening and sunset.
Clear Target
One-time freeze-zeroing of thermal and digital channels
One cartridge and the Freeze software feature is sufficient to zero both optical channels at a selected distance. After range-finding shots, the riflescope takes a picture of the target and the thermal and digital channel markers are set at the bullet's point of impact. The Thermion Duo DXP can be zeroed using either basic magnification or zoom, and the click value decreases proportionally to the zoom ratio - at maximum magnification, the ñlick value is less than 0.1 MOA. The point of aim is stabilized over the full magnification range.
“High-precision Aiming in Picture-in-Picture Mode
The “Picture-in-Picture” feature allows the shooter to display a high-precision zeroing frame. Occupying only 10% of the total display area, this frame displays a magnified image of the target and markers and allows the user to view the image up close in the aiming area while having visual control of the entire field of view. In the Thermion Duo, images from different channels can be combined on a single display, displaying thermal images in the secondary frame when using digital mode in the primary frame, and vice versa. The classic feature of Pulsar products, “Picture in Picture”, is also available, when images from one channel are displayed in both the main frame and the additional frame.
Five separate shooting profiles/50 zeroing distances
Zeroing settings are saved in shooting profiles. Thermion Duo memory contains up to five shooting profiles for multiple types of weapons or cartridges. Each profile can hold up to ten zeroing distances.
Ten crosshair shapes in nine color modes to choose from
Crosshairs are displayed electronically on the same plane as the target. Thermion Duo memory contains ten crosshair configurations and functions (direct, ballistic, scalable and conventional), all available in nine colors.
1800m day/night thermal detection range
The advantage of thermal imaging is that it allows early animal detection at any time of the day. At night, searching for prey at a distance is the most effective method. Thanks to high-quality, long focal length optics and a highly sensitive sensor, the Thermion Duo DXP sighting device has an excellent viewing range - objects with a height of 1.8 m can be detected at 1800 meters in total darkness. During the day, the Thermion Duo thermal imaging channel helps locate game in dense fog, haze, difficult terrain and camouflage, tall grass, behind bushes or deep in the forest.
Stream Vision 2. Wi-Fi Integration with iOS and Android Devices
The built-in Wi-Fi module will connect the device to Android and iOS based smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 mobile application. This combination provides an excellent opportunity for, for example, wireless updating of the device's software, real-time transfer of images to the mobile device's screen, remote control of digital functions, and more. Users registered in the app will receive cloud storage space for storing photos and videos taken with digital or thermal imaging devices.
Improved WiFi connectivity through 2.4 / 5 GHZ band support
In Thermion Duo, the standard smartphone connectivity frequency range via the 2.4 GHz WiFi channel is complemented by an effective 5 GHz range. The 5 GHz connection provides better bandwidth, faster data rates, noise immunity, and greater connection stability, which improves the efficiency and ease of operation when using a smartphone thermal sight.
Mounted on a standard 30mm ring
Thermion Duo for any hunting weapon
Objective lens with internal focusing mechanism delivers clear, sharp images at any range. Ergonomic focus wheels are located on the left and right sides, making it easy to focus with either your left or right hand.
Instant Startup
The Thermion Duo is ready to work in just 4 seconds from the moment you press the power button.
Wide-angle eyepiece for comfortable viewing
Observing with the Thermion Duo won't strain your eyes and allows the hunter to fully focus on the hunt. The wide-angle eyepiece (29.5°) and wide viewing angle of the HD-quality AMOLED display provide comfortable image perception and safely remove the 50 mm exit pupil, thus eliminating the lock-in effect.
Optimized Equal Field of View for Thermal and Digital Channels
Magnification varies from 2 to 16x per optical channel. Magnification changes gradually or continuously in 2x steps to set the ideal magnification and field of view for a particular scene. A big advantage is that the magnification and field of view of the digital and thermal imaging channels are matched. This allows the hunter to switch from one channel to another without losing focus on the object of observation - the hunter will see the same scene, just in a different spectrum.
High-caliber recoil drag: 12 gauge, 9.3x64, .375H&H
The Thermion Duo Thermal Scope offers high recoil resistance for use with hunting weapons in calibers 9.3x64, .30-06, .300, .375H&H and more, as well as smoothbore and pneumatic weapons.
Up to 6 hours of use on a single charge
The Thermion Duo is powered by two rechargeable batteries: a 4.9 Ah internal battery and a 2 Ah replaceable battery.
